Resources for Secondary Music Teachers
There are two main barriers to integrating harpists into the public school music ensemble: lack of information, and lack of music. This project aims to remove those barriers so that every young harpist has an opportunity to play in orchestra (or with other non-harp ensembles). Below, there are resources linked that provide basic information about harps and harpists, integrating the harp into the orchestra, and suggestions for pieces with already-written harp parts.
This project was created as part of the term requirements for the AHS Chapter Ambassador program. I am not currently updating it.
